It could do with a new clause or FAQ to account for this new factor. "When a unit is selected to do a Charge action, measure only from it's position when the Charge was declared for determining the result needed on the Charge roll." It does away with disputing trying to pivot before measurement to game the distance and a model doesn't move unless the roll succeeds anyway. It'd also discourage the gamey sideways placement shenanigans. What really trips the pivot mechanic up, though, is being only half-baked without vehicle facing rules.

After GW lied about its app being able to use it for every army for free if you paid for Warhammer + subscription, which I was going on 3rd straight year, I quit playing Warhammer 40k again in my life. I started at the end of 2nd edition and stopped when models for chaos were not being made for any reason at start of 4th. This time I started playing at end of 8th an I absolutely hate 10th edition with a passion. ANDY CHAMBERS AND JARVIS NEED TO COME BACK AND MAKE IT HARDER TO UNDERSTAND FOR NEWBIES. It made the game better and way more realistic. Me and a military buddy are making a new one ourselves, called LORE EDITION. it's extremely brutal and more like what you see in animations and read in books from Black Library, anything can happen an surprises are everywhere. Mixing 2nd 3rd 7th 8th 9th an yes a little 10th altogether. 😂😂😂😂😂

Add a pivot value to datasheet of models, 0" unless stated otherwise. With pivot value being the max distance one could gain from a pivot. They pay it the first time they pivot.

Your assomption ain't true I think. Because the model has a base, you have to measure from it and not from the model itself, regardless of it's a vehicule or not. So even if it rotates, it doesn't change anything. The base is still at 9.

How does that Custodes army even work? With the Telemon its 2020pts, without (as shown) it's 1805? Am I missing something?

That custodes list is 2020 points if there is indeed a telemon not written in it...

NOTES: small typo in the Blood Angels list - I listed 2 Jump Chaplains but meant only 1 (the other JDC unit is lead by Lemartes). I also mention that Fervent Acclamation activates the Tannhausers Bones ability, but as many of you pointed out it actually only applies the *effect* of a Vow, doesn't actually activate it for the unit. I'll be editing that bit out. Thanks for watching and catching this stuff and keep bein' awesome ;)

I bet several or more of these tournaments were using Leviathan rules.

While this is cool for raiders, it really does make the tantalus playable. With out the count only the base, the model can't move on the table in 10th. That said, moving it up to a larger base size would be more than reasonable as there is no reason for a venom and a Tantalus to be on the same base.

New missions format is good for T'au. Secret missions also REALLY benefit Kauyon T'au.

why can you pivot your modle before making a charge roll? you deepstrike 9" away, you roll your 9" you can move, and while moving pivot, why pivot while say you charge? i'm a casual player so i think i play like gw intedned, because i don't need a lawyer for every rule i use...

How did that dark angels list win i have no idea. You can delete the eradicators with a 6 man inceptor squad easily. So can you do the same to companions that have no invus.

I tried to copy the Astra Militarum list to tinker with it, but isnt it 5 points over 2000? Removing Grand strategist from the command squad solves the problem, but that also makes them considerably less effective.

I played the Necron list at the Birmingham event. One of ther things that players might not appreciate is how tall the Tesseract Arc is. Its a subtle thing but this means it can shoot into units hiding in terrain much more easdily especially with the Hyperphasing jump at 3 inches. No where is safe!

Outriders dont have the vehicle or monster keyword so are they not excluded from the 2'' pivot rule

Have i missed something? The Rubric Marines as allies to the renegade raiders CSM shouldnt benefit from their detachement ability right? As they dont have the heretic astartes keyword.

Super happy with how the list played and you were so right in how the stormsword preformed just pushing up with army. Your opponent needs to stop you and when they do the big boy gets its revenge. The Wargames Con BT list is wild but very, very abnormal even with a meta shift. Grats to him but some things i noticed yesterday 'watching' the list on BCP: - seal judiciar and t-Bone terminators are on the opposite ends of the spectrum and cannot get their second (better) abilities with a vow change strat. The vow must be active foe the army. And i very much doubt youd want to remove the FNP from a 480 terminator brick (which will have zero FNP if the seal is ever active) - foot slogging sword bros is almost unheard of, and he's does it for two squads (or one big one)

Why is this a problem? I like the new rules, I don't see the reason for your rules at all. And I play guard and knight, the amount of deepstrike+charge I do is not high.
